This May Be Long

It rained most of the day, but stopped eventually allowing me to go get a short ride in. It was so ridiculously humid I went for a run around Jester after my ride to finish up my triathlon.

How much do you have to like a house to bring it with you when you move?

I used to think architecture was a dangerous major, but I don'tthink we've ever done anything that required 9 fire trucks, 4 hazardous material trucks, 4 fire marshals, and 3 ambulances all at the same time before... The biology department on the other hand, well, they needed them all last night...
(picture was too dark to make anything out...)

I got a sweet new cd in the mail today:

I need to think of a good April Fools Day thing for studio tomorrow... Hmm...

Crit

3/4 Race: Got a flat on the start line, changed it and had to sit at back for whatever reason. Decided that sucked and rode by myself for a while.

Open Race: Made my goal of hanging for 20 minutes. Rode until I got lapped by everyone about 35 minutes into the race. New goal: 30 minutes before getting dropped.

Yay for the parentals being here!

Now I'm off to studio for a while!

This pretty much says it all:

In other news, my first (Tuesday) Nighter was tonight. Despite the very strong wind that was only a tailwind for about 5% of the course, it was pretty good. I got about 10th in the "B" race. I would have done the "A" race, but I didn't know the policy on waiting for people that did the extra lap but got dropped, nor did I know the way back to campus... so, maybe next week.

I was going to make some comment about eating 5 chicks all at once, but I can't really come up with anything too good...
Happy Zombie Jesus Day everyone!!

Crunch!

So we went to Reimers Ranch today to preride for the race in a couple weeks. The trail is... interesting... If it wasn't for this little ridge of rock on the side of the hill, it would be super easy, but really, not so much. It'll be interesting to see how the A.J. does if he comes down later.

I broke one of my pedals on a rock (Crunch), making it the thirsd thing I've had to replace on my mountain bike in the last three weeks. Wow that thing is getting old...

In other news, I bought a Nestle Crunch bar, but it was upside down:

Also, with a little editing... NESTLE CRUNC!!

Meh

I went riding at Walnut Creek earlier, it was is really nice outside, and it was a decent ride, but for whatever reason I don't feel like I enjoyed it as much as I should have...

It took me forever to figure out why there were so many people at the park... -1 for U.T. for making us have class on Good Friday.

RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY!!

"Do you smell that? It kinda smells like barbeque!"
-Some lady out at the park walking by (guess what) A BARBEQUE!!

Rain, rain, go away

come again some other time.

Wait, that isn't right... But yeah, I wanted to ride today. Stupid rain ) :
Yeah, that's right; a frowny face. Take that.

I was going to watch some tv since I'm stuck inside, but my road bike stole the remote and wouldn't give it back:

At least when I went to get a snack I was able to cover all the food groups, you know, bread products, chocolate, and fruit:
