Crit

3/4 Race: Got a flat on the start line, changed it and had to sit at back for whatever reason. Decided that sucked and rode by myself for a while.

Open Race: Made my goal of hanging for 20 minutes. Rode until I got lapped by everyone about 35 minutes into the race. New goal: 30 minutes before getting dropped.

In other news, my first (Tuesday) Nighter was tonight. Despite the very strong wind that was only a tailwind for about 5% of the course, it was pretty good. I got about 10th in the "B" race. I would have done the "A" race, but I didn't know the policy on waiting for people that did the extra lap but got dropped, nor did I know the way back to campus... so, maybe next week.

Crunch!

So we went to Reimers Ranch today to preride for the race in a couple weeks. The trail is... interesting... If it wasn't for this little ridge of rock on the side of the hill, it would be super easy, but really, not so much. It'll be interesting to see how the A.J. does if he comes down later.

I broke one of my pedals on a rock (Crunch), making it the thirsd thing I've had to replace on my mountain bike in the last three weeks. Wow that thing is getting old...

I went riding at Walnut Creek earlier, it was is really nice outside, and it was a decent ride, but for whatever reason I don't feel like I enjoyed it as much as I should have...

It took me forever to figure out why there were so many people at the park... -1 for U.T. for making us have class on Good Friday.

In other news, I did not sleep good last night, because
1) The school decided that spring break wasn't actually over until today, so there was no reason to turn the A/C on last night and thusly it was about 456765434529 degrees in the room.
2) The roomate decided that 2am was the perfect time to turn on all the lights in the room and cut his fingernails. I made it very clear that this wasn't the best idea and he went to bed. And proceeded to snore for about 3 hours.
